Qld Snapper Season Underway

Snapper season is getting underway and recreational fishers are reminded that size and possession limits apply.

The minimum size limit for snapper is 35 cm, and the possession limit is 4 per person, with no more than one fish over 70 cm.

Queensland Boating and Fisheries Patrol issued fines for the undersized snapper, bream and blue swimmer crabs in this photo, including the female blue swimmer crab which were all caught by two recreational fishers in Moreton Bay.
