Bike Helmets may not cut it as a Float

The Queensland Boating and Fisheries Patrol recently came across some crab pots that were sporting some fashionable safety gear.

Although eye catching, bike helmets may not cut it as a float. Always ensure your crab pots have a light coloured float attached, when not tied to a fixed object.

Your float will also need to be bigger than 15 cm in any dimension and have your name on it.
